Terms

These terms are the total agreement made between the Parties and no variation or modification of this contract shall be effective unless agreed by both Parties in writing.

The customer understands and accepts that the film coverage will be as the director’s professional expertise determines.

Spotlight weddings shall be granted complete artistic licence, including in relation to the poses filmed and the locations used. Due to the vagaries of the weather and the willingness of subjects, it may not always be possible to capture all the images requested.

Any images or copies of images are protected by the Copyright and Design Act 1988. It is contrary to the Act to copy or allow to be copied photographically / electronically or by some other means an image created as part of this contract without the permission of Spotlight Weddings in writing.

Negatives / digital files / master tapes remain the property of Spotlight Weddings. The customer will however be given the opportunity of purchasing all master tapes. If the customer declines to buy the master tapes, Spotlight Weddings reserves the right to destroy or re-cycle these tapes.

Spotlight Weddings will use its best endeavours to complete the production of the specified DVD / Video within twelve weeks of the completion of filming but, in some circumstances, could take longer.

Light refreshments should be provided for the camera person during the day, alternatively an additional charge will be made to cover their expenses.

The first 50 miles return journey between the Studio and the location of the event, are included in each package price. Any mileage incurred beyond that will be charged at 0.40 pence per mile.

The balance of the package ordered shall be paid in full six weeks before the date of the wedding. Cancellation fees - within two months of filming date: 25% of package price. Cancellation fees - within one month of filming date: 50% of package price.

The customer hereby allows Spotlight Weddings to display any images included in this contract in their studios, portfolios, literature, wedding exhibitions and advertising.

In the event of any camera person being unable to perform or complete the agreement for any reason, including technical failure, ill health, accident or vehicle breakdown, Spotlight Weddings will use their best endeavours to secure a replacement. However, if no such replacement can be secured, then the liability of Spotlight Weddings is limited to making a refund of all monies paid under the agreement.

Whilst every effort is made to ensure that all equipment is in sound working order, Spotlight Weddings liability in the event of the director or editor being unable to perform or complete the engagement due to malfunction of equipment, shall be limited to making a refund of all monies paid under the agreement.

Force Majeure or Act of God
The due performance of this contract is subject to alteration or cancellation by either party owing to any cause beyond their control. In this event the liability of Spotlight Weddings is limited to making a refund of all monies paid under the agreement.
