FAQ

Do I have to pay a deposit when I book?

Yes, a non-refundable deposit of £300.00 is needed to secure the booking date.

When does the balance have to be paid?

Six weeks before the date of the wedding.

When should we expect to receive the DVD?

We aim to have your wedding DVD finished within 12 weeks of the filming, but at peak times (typically for weddings in July to September) it can take another 4-6 weeks.

Why does it take so long to create the DVD?

Your DVD is not just a simple copy of whatever was filmed on the day, but a carefully edited and very personal record of your day, in the style that you have designed, and we take great pride in ensuring that it meets your expectations.

How far do you travel, and are there any extra charges?

We will travel anywhere in the UK, but for venues more than 50 miles distance from Stanstead Abbotts we will make a charge based upon mileage, and sometimes it may be necessary to charge for overnight accommodation. If any extra charges are needed, they will be detailed in your personalised quote so that there will be no surprises later.

How many copies of the DVD are included in the price?

One. Additional copies can be supplied at a cost of £20.00 each if ordered before the wedding day or £30.00 thereafter.

Why shouldn't we let the best man film the wedding?

Sometimes people think that filming a wedding is nothing more than pointing a camera and pressing the record button, this couldn’t be further from the truth. Your wedding day is going to be one of the key events of your life, it deserves to be recorded that way. We provide a service that plans the filming and editing process, uses high quality equipment to do it with, and experienced staff to achieve it. We believe that your memory of your special day deserves the best.

How many cameramen will there be at the wedding?

One, but there will be two cameras in operation at certain times, such as the service, speeches and first dance. If you have a particular need for two cameramen on the day, we can of course provide them.

Can we purchase the original footage?

Yes, the cost varies depending how you want the footage produced but ranges from simply buying the tapes (£150) to having your entire wedding digitized on DVD/BluRay (at £200 and £300 respectively)
